For Syrian refugees in Turkey, Erdoğan has plans…
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has detailed his plans to offer citizenship to nearly 3 million Syrians taking refuge in Turkey during his return trip from a NATO summit in Warsaw, suggesting that dual citizenship may be granted to applicants
Up to 300,000 Syrian refugees living in Turkey could be given citizenship under a plan to keep wealthy and educated Syrians in the country, Turkish daily Habertürk reported on July 9, soon after President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s inflammatory remarks suggesting Syrians could be extended citizenship
President Erdoğan has commented on granting citizenship to Syrian refugees and noted that action has been taken with regards to confirming Bahoz Erdal getting killed.

Kaybına en çok üzüldüğüm insanlardan biri Özgür Uçkan. Bir süredir ağır bir hastalık geçirdiğini biliyordum ama yine de bir ümidim vardı. Olmadı, ne yazık ki acı haberi aldık:

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras won backing from lawmakers today (11 July) for painful reform proposals aimed at obtaining a new international bailout, but he faced a rebellion in his own party that could threaten his majority in parliament.
As Greece inches closer to a bailout deal that will keep it in the eurozone, experts have hailed France for playing the role of pacifier in fractious debt talks and putting the brakes on a dreaded “Grexit”.
Eurozone finance ministers are set to give their view on whether Greece should qualify for a third bailout which would prevent it crashing out of the euro.

Greek parliament decides on Grexit tonight
A compromise for a third bailout, which would allow Greece, to stay in the eurozone, is within reach. It is now up to the Greek parliament to have the final word: if Greece stays in the euro, and in the Union, or if it leaves. The vote takes place tonight, 10 to 11 July. It is very likely that the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central bank would give their green light tomorrow to a Greek reform plan, opening
Despite what many are saying – especially those who do not have to bear the consequences of their words – Greek voters’ rejection on Sunday of the latest bailout offer from their country’s creditors did not represent a “victory for democracy.” In fact, it is quite the opposite.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President François Hollande have called on Athens to present a plan for financing Greece. The two leaders met on Monday to discuss their strategy for today’s special Eurozone summit. Europe now has the chance to abandon its neoliberal austerity policy, some commentators write. Others point out that the costs of a Greek debt write-down would weigh heavily on all the countries of the monetary union.

EU leaders will have a lot of soul searching to do today, following the victory by the “No” camp in the Greek referendum on Sunday (5 July), which rejected their proposed rescue package.
