As police raids HDP protesters, “PM Admits Deliberate Internet Cut Off”

About Internet cut off, PM Yıldırım has said that things will return to normal “after the threat is parried”.
The slowdown in internet connection experienced throughout Turkey are a “security measure” taken by the government, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said on Nov. 4, as millions’ access to major social media sites was stalled from the early hours of morning.

Democratic Unity Party (DBP) co-head Sebahat Tuncel was detained by police in front of the courthouse in the southeastern Turkish province of Diyarbakır on Nov. 4, as a wave of detentions targeted senior politicians of the Kurdish issue-focused Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).
European Union envoys in Ankara met on Nov. 4, under the head of the EU delegation to Turkey, over People’s Democratic Party (HDP) co-chairs, lawmakers are detained as part of “terrorism” investigations.
Detained this morning, HDP MPs Nursel Aydoğan and Leyla Birlik have been arrested.
Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ has criticized People’s Democratic Party (HDP) lawmakers for not appearing to give testimony which left “no any other means” than to summon them by force, following the detention of 12 MPs from the party.

HDP Spokesperson Bilgen has spoken in front of the party building where police blocked entrance: “We didn’t go to testify because we wanted the coup conditions to be seen and known by everyone throughout the world”.

Ambulances rush to the scene of where a car bomb explosion reportedly killed one person and wounded around 30 others in Turkey’s south-eastern city of Diyarbakir on Friday.
