Prime Minister Yıldırım as to the Armenian Genocide bill to be seen tomorrow in Germany has said, “[Allegations] out of the whole cloth, ordinary incidents lived in World War First conditions and could happen in any society”.
Germany’s Parliament is expected to approve a resolution on Thursday declaring the mass killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turks in 1915-16 to be genocide.
The bill concerning the Armenian Genocide will be voted at the German Confederation. The prevalent view in the German press is in the direction of giving the incidents its actual title. The politicians on the other hand are worried that the Readmission Agreement might be cancelled.
