Is it surprising that prisons resemble factories, schools, barracks, hospitals, which all resemble prisons?

Most of the high school principals are chosen specially. The more you have nationalistic/ right wing/ authoritarian tendencies, the more likely you will become a high school principal. And the less knowledgeable scholarly you are, the better promotion you will have.

A philosophy teacher used a Foucault quote from the “Birth of Prison” in his Whatsapp account and the vice principal thought it was the teacher’s own statement likening the school to a prison. The principal backed his vice principal in the so called investigation.

The teacher is sent to a different school as a punishment, now he is fighting back.
